His holiness Shrimad Jagadguru Ramanuja Acharya Swami Sudarshan Acharya Maharaj was born in the state of Rajasthan, District Savai Madopur, Village Padla, in a affluent Brahmin family who worked as farmers. He was named as Shiv (shambu) Dayal Sharma. From childhood he was a devotee of Lord Narayan. At the age of three and a half years old he heard a saint sing the words "Liya Diya Tere Sang Chalega, Dharm Karam Ka Nata Hai, Sai Naam Ki Chinta Kar Le, dene Wala Daata Hai” which meant whatever you give and take will go with you, religion and deeds are your

associates, worry about taking the name of God, Lord is the giver. The words had a remarkable impact on his mind and no material thing or aspiration ever touched his intellect after that.
